| CollegeOK, so I've decided where i'm going to go. but first let me say that God really answers prayers. It may not be what you want but He answers them in His own way. Through this entire process, I've been praying to God asking Him to make it clear where He wants to lead me, especially in college. There were places that I really wanted to get into, but i wanted to make sure it was where God wanted me to go too.
Well, He made it very, very clear. I got my Wheaton acceptance first, and i was excited, but honestly i wanted to stay local so i didn't think much of it. I wanted to stay local because of friends and because of church. I was really excited about going to eCollege ministry. Wheaton had been my only out of state college. But then i got rejected from UCSD, which was dissapointing, since i really liked that college. So, i was still waiting for Irvine and still holding out hope for UCLA, since these campuses were close enough to stay here. Unfortunately i got rejected by both of those colleges too. =/
I was a bit suprised, I kinda understood UCLA and UCSD, but I really thought I was going to get into Irvine. And it was pretty hard at first, since I really wanted to stay local but got rejected from most major local colleges. But through this, I realised that God had answered my prayer, He made His plan for me clear, at least for college. I may have wanted to go to any college around here, but He wants me to go to Illinois. I don't know what i'm going to do there, but i trust that God has my future in His hand. When i remember this, i'm not that dissapointed anymore. I'm actually a bit relieved that God has shown me His plan. UC Berkeley and Biola havn't replied yet, but I think God has already shown me where He wants me to go.
So, finally, I believe God has called me to Chicago to go to Wheaton College!!! =)

| Finished all my college apps!!! I've applied to (i'll post the results next to them later): UCLA: UCSD: Rejected. =(
UC Berkeley: UC Irvine: Wheaton College: Accepted. =D (my first!!!) Biola University: UC decisions come back this month. =/ just waiting and praying. |

| Micheal, you're a great kid. visiting you at the hospital was a great experience for me and it really opened my eyes. You are the strongest person I have ever met and I really hope the rest of the recovery process goes smoothly. God bless you. Another thing, I don't think I can eat Korean bbq for a while. Ate pine hill for freaking two and a half hours yesterday.It was GOOD though. =P |
